Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, literally meaning Technical University of Malaysia, Malacca, abbreviated as UTeM) is a public university located in Durian Tunggal, Malacca, Malaysia. It is the first technical public university and the 14th public university overall in Malaysia. The university is considered the pioneer in the use of the "Practice and Application Oriented" teaching and learning method for tertiary level technical education in Malaysia.

UTeM was established on 1 December 2000 as Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia (National Technical University College of Malaysia, abbreviated as KUTKM), under Section 20 of the University and University College Act 1971 (Act 30) under the Orders of Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia (Incorporated) 2001. On 1 February 2007, KUTKM was upgraded into a full-fledged technical university and got its present name. At the same time, its emblem was rehashed as the University's emblem.

Advancing towards its 3rd decade of establishment, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) has attained numerous accolades and recognitions. These commendable achievements are a culmination of meticulously crafted strategic planning and visioning by previous leaders of the university. Over the years, UTeM has seen a shift of one Rector and three respectable Vice-Chancellors and every transition is marked by yet another leap of excellence. 

Validating our tagline “Always A Pioneer, Always Ahead”, UTeM will stride ahead in pioneering and trail blazing new initiatives through academic programmes that support the aspiration of higher technical education with an enhanced emphasis in developing pronounced technical skills (TVET) among its graduates.  Situated strategically in the UNESCO Heritage Site of the Historical City of Melaka, UTeM operates from two campuses namely the Main Campus at Hang Tuah Jaya and the Technology Campus near Ayer Keroh. The operations of eights (8) faculties are supported by two (2) learning centres which enables UTeM to attain prominence in providing technical and technology-focused academic programmes in engineering, engineering technology, ICT, and technology management and technopreneurship.

Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) was established as a professional body through a Technologists & Technicians Act 2015 (Act 768), to register and recognize Professional Technologist as well as Certified Technician as professionals.

MBOT gives Professional Recognition to Technologists and Technicians in related technology and technical fields. 

In order to retain the number of TVET workforces growing in the industry, MBOT also assists in ensuring the quality of the profession is in line with the dynamic development of the current industry and current trends in manufacturing technologies include, among others, automation, Internet-of-things and cyber physical systems.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology is a multidisciplinary professional engineering institution. 


The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has more than 155,000 engineering and technology professionals in 148 countries. 


IET members operate almost 100 Local Networks as well as 22 Technical Networks. 


The IET was formed in March 2006 by a merger of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE).

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) was established by MGVP Trust (Mahatma Gandhi Vidyapeetha Educational Trust) in 1963 by Sri Late Dayananda Sagar, the founder. Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology & Management (DSATM) which comes under DSI is located in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management was established in 2011 and the Institution is nurtured by two esteemed sons of the founder Dr.D. Hemachandra Sagar, Chairman, DSI and Dr.D. Premachandra Sagar, Vice Chairman, DSI. DSATM is an autonomous institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The Institute is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council and the Under Graduate programs have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. The Institution offers 12 branches of Engineering, B.Arch, MBA and MCA Programs with state of art infrastructure and good faculty strength who are committed to academics and research. Each of the programs has signed MOU’s and has many add on Lab’s which are Program Specific to train the students apart from the curriculum to bridge the gap between Industry & Academia in the latest Technologies. The Placement division works with Corporates to build the overall Development of Students as per industry requirements. The college provides hostel facility for boys and girls separately even for the international students as well. Culture plays a major role in the growth of the DSI and its students. It reflects a collection of attitude principles, priorities, and behaviours that are shared. In nearly all economic, social and other practices, culture and innovation manifest themselves. Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies is one among the premier educational institutions in India founded by Dr.Ishari K Ganesh, a visionary and an eminent educationist, in fond memory of his father Shri. Isari Velan, a former minister of Tamil Nadu. Vels group of Institutions was established in the year 1992 and granted Deemed to be University status by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India in 2008 (Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956) and now running 30 educational institutions. This esteemed institution offers courses in multiple streams over the last 30 years such as undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Medicine, Engineering, Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maritime studies, Science and Humanities. The establishment of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is of immense historical significance. Mardan and the nearby Takhtbai region have long been centers of great civilizations, such as the Gandharan Empire, renowned for its Greco-Buddhist art, and possibly even earlier settlements like those of the Indus Valley Civilization. Despite these remarkable achievements, they have largely been forgotten due to the passage of time and invasions by various tribes.

AWKUM's creation is a significant step forward. The university aims to revive this rich cultural heritage by harnessing the intellectual potential of young scholars. It seeks to promote a deeper understanding of unity in human society, transcending caste, color, and creed. AWKUM not only builds on the legacy of the past but also prepares future generations to contribute to scientific, economic, and socio-cultural progress. The university offers modern departments in basic sciences, social sciences, and applied sciences, providing a strong foundation of quality education and research. It attracts students from Swabi, Charsadda, Nowsehra, Mardan, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Dir, Chitral, Northern Punjab, Kohat, Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the extensive Tribal regions. Many young students from these areas, despite their intellectual capabilities, have been unable to pursue higher education due to extreme poverty.

Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) has seen a remarkable rise in prominence within the educational landscape of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The university serves over 16,000 students, with 25% being female. This diverse academic offering is delivered through five faculties, each comprising related departments. Additionally, three dedicated colleges provide specialized programs. Students can pursue 61 Bachelor's degrees, 30 MPhil/MS programs, and 19 PhD programs, equipping them for both the workforce and further specialization and research.

AWKUM's commitment to high-quality education extends to its faculty. The university prides itself on its distinguished team of over 415 members, with more than half holding PhD qualifications, including 135 who earned their PhDs from international universities. Academy of Maritime Education and Training is the India’s first Maritime Deemed to be University for maritime-related education, training and research. AMET is one among the members of the International Association of Maritime Universities. With quality, commitment, knowledge and excellence as its corner stones, AMET had a humble beginning in the year 1993 with just 14 cadets molded for a career in merchant navy through a Higher National Diploma programme in Marine Engineering.  AMET serves as an ocean of knowledge for over 3500 students pursuing Programmes ranging from Diploma to Doctoral programs through Faculty of Maritime Studies, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Advanced Computing Sciences, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Science and Humanities, related to marine and general sector programmes. AMET secured its compliance certificate for ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards from the prestigious and globally renowned DET NORSKE VERITAS, Norway.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission has assessed AMET and accredited with A Grade (CGPA:3.13) during September 2021. The accreditation is an indication of standards of quality as set by the NAAC and valid for a period of five years from 13-09-2021.

AMET caters to the comprehensive development of all its students so as to make them better educated, more articulate and demanding. To that end is enabled and inculcated by modern teaching aids, well equipped workshops for practical training, marine workshop for hands on training on marine auxiliaries, Ship in Campus, well-furnished hostel, canteen facilities, indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool, medical facilities backed by an overall conducive learning environment. For over three decades AMET is remaining as the favorite destination for campus interviews by many shipping giants such as AP MOLLER MAERSK, GOODWOOD, NYK, SONANGOL, VSHIPS, WALLEMS, SHELL, CHEVRON, STENA and so goes a list of over 100 companies. Besides positions onboard, AMET Business school graduates have secured lucrative jobs in commercial shipping sectors such as chartering and ship broking. Never the less, Naval Architecture, Marine Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduates have successfully walked away from AMET with jobs offering sumptuous packages along with an opportunity to grow and glow in their career swiftly. Needless to say about the entrepreneurship development activities nurtured into AMET’ians has been found rewarding by students who are chief executive officers of their own organization.

AMET commitment to cater for the maritime capacity building has no bounds and has drawn the attention of several growing maritime nations. To name a few are Republic of Nigeria, Angola and Djibouti that has signed a long term memorandum of understanding with AMET for developing their nation’s maritime human resource in particular and maritime infrastructure in general. Nigerian Maritime safety authority (NIMASA) which is the supreme authority for maritime administration in Nigeria, has got over 500 cadets trained through AMET over the last five years. AMET is a host to over 700 international students hailing from more than 10 countries across the world, thus providing and proving itself as a culturally diverse destination with a pledge to “Respect Diversity” and to promote cross cultural understanding which is the most essential quality for working in global environment.

Brac University (BracU) is one of the most popular and top ranked private universities in Bangladesh. Sir Fazle Hasan Abed founded BRAC University in 2001, under the Private University Act. BracU follows a liberal arts approach to education which nurtures fresh ideas and gives new impetus to the field of tertiary education. It ensures a high quality of education and aims to meet the demands of contemporary times. The medium of instruction and examination at Brac University is English. BracU has its own residential campus to enhance the ability of the students in terms of practical learning experience. BRAC University's New Campus is located at Progati Sarani, Merul Badda, Dhaka 1212. It's conveniently located in Dhaka city. The campus are covers a total land area of 5 acres, with the building spanning 1,700,000 square feet in total. WOHA Designs Pte Ltd., Singapore based world-renowned architectural firm has designed this project. The Campus is a 13-story building with three basements, designed to accommodate around 12,000-15,000 students. The greenery, sand, and gravel on the rooftop have therapeutic effects, promoting wellness. The rooftop jogging track is a great place to get some exercise while enjoying a beautiful view.

Among the departments, BRAC Business School is prominent for enriched and experienced faculty members from home and abroad. The BRAC Business School (BBS) offers an undergraduate program: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and two graduate programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). Each program offers a unique set of specializations in a wide variety of business disciplines: Accounting, Finance, E-Business, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Information System, Management, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management and others.

The Ayesha Abed Library of BracU offers over 45,000 books along with AR/VR facilities for an immersive learning experience. The campus offers state-of-the-art learning facilities, including 123 classrooms, 5 lecture theatres, and 105 laboratories. The alumni lounge at BRAC University's new campus offers a welcoming space for graduates to reconnect, network, and reminisce. A versatile space for hosting various events, including fairs, conferences, cultural events, and sports.

BracU provide facility and scholarship for the international students from different parts of the world. Riara University is a private university established under the University Act in 2012, having been approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE) to operate under a letter of Interim Authority since August 2, 2012. Tarumanagara University (UNTAR) (Indonesian: Universitas Tarumanagara) is a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia and one of the oldest private universities in the country. Established in 1959, UNTAR has grown to become one of the biggest and best universities in Indonesia. Excellent-accredited by BAN-PT, offering 30 nationally and internationally accredited Study Programs. As an entrepreneurial campus that committed to Higher Education Tridarma with Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE) values, UNTAR managed to become one of the best private universities in Indonesia. UNTAR Campus I is located at Jl. Letjen S. Parman 1, Jakarta, and Campus II is located within walking distance to Campus I. In addition to the campuses, Tarumanagara Foundation also owns Royal Tarumanagara Hospital, which serves all the medical needs of the general populace in the 8-storied building constructed on 9,482 square meters of land and is located just a 15-minute walk from both Campus I and II.

The university offers comfortable classrooms equipped with a whiteboard, computer, overhead projector, microphone, speaker system, Wi-Fi connection, and air conditioning.  The seats and desks are arranged in conventionally designed rows and columns to support a teacher/student learning interaction during lectures or tutorials. Learning space at UNTAR also has theatre classrooms to accommodate larger classes.

In the 7th International Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT) 2024 at INTI International University, two faculties from UNTAR, i.e., Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Psychology will collaborate and joint as co-host.
